n aspiration to create beautiful and desirable objects is what drives the creative spirit of Jenny Blue -

a talented Sydney based designer and artist.

Beginning her artistic career in Fine Arts followed by Fashion Design at Sydneys premier college, East Sydney TAFE, Jenny has successfully utilised her many creative talents to carve a niche in homewares design. She has developed both ceramic and napery ranges for some of Australias leading manufacturers in the past two years.

A strong appreciation for the unique sytle and innovative use of colour displayed by Tricia Guild, has been a great inspiration to Jenny. Her own passion for colour and pattern in textiles has been translated into her creamic, napery and paper designs for her growing satisfied client base.

Jenny enjoys expanding her range of techniques and experimenting with various styles. She employs many mediums in creating her designs including gouache, acrylic, computer generated images and of course, collage.

Jenny has worked in the art rooms of Mambo and Acme Merchandising as well as designing for Hot Tuna upon graduating from college. She designed, developed, manufactured and marketed her own hemp napery and bed linen range to retailers throughout Australia prior to commencing project work with other manufacturers.

She has secured two licensing agreements with Australia Fine China.
Jenny Blue Kids - a range of children ceramics.
Language of Flowers - a floral range of mugs and plates based on the Victorian meanings of flowers due for release in August 2003.
With further releases due in February 2004.

Jenny is continuing to further develop her distinctive commercial sytle and is actively seeking exciting projects and opportunities with new clients.
